Maria graduated with a degree in Community Studies concentrating on Non-Profit management. She worked for a number of different non-profit organizations in management and consulting roles. Having grown up the daughter of a master plumber and apprenticing in the family business, she grew up loving to fix anything and everything. Her draw towards Real Estate began while working in property management. Her strengths are strategic thinking, renovation/ building projects, advocacy and development. When first asked if she would be interested in selling real estate, Maria answered "Maybe, if my motto can be 'I hate sales. I love and believe in good business'." She practices a client centric model in helping her clients and believes in giving each client as much control or assistance as they desire.
In her spare time she enjoys playing guitar, writing, painting, mountain biking, trail running, leading church small groups or events and playing with her dog. Maria currently serves on two boards: a local non-profit/ministry called Society -an urban social church club, and the campaign executive committee for Mark Neidergang -candidate running for Alderman in Somerville (He won! now alderman!). A fully licensed realtor, Maria is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, Northeast Association of REALTORS®, Cambridge Historical Society, Brickbottom Artist Association, and friend to both the Somerville Public Library and the Middlesex Fells Reservation.
